The California Teachers Association Board of Directors named Practical Money Skills for Life as a recipient for this award for its support of teachers, students and public education.

2009 Wealth Watchers Financial Literacy Advocate Award

As part of this year's Financial Literacy and Education Summit at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Visa Inc was named the recipient of the 2009 Wealth Watchers Financial Literacy Advocate Award for its commitment to promoting and empowering financial education.

2013 Children's Book of the Year

The Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong (IFPHK) chose Visa Inc.'s Practical Money Skills and Marvel's Avengers Saving the Day comic for the award as part of its annual Financial Education Awards.

2013 China Corporate Citizen Best Program Award

Visa's China Financial Literacy Development Alliance was honored for acknowledgement of the company's efforts as a socially responsible corporate citizen in China. The award was presented at the China Best Corporate Citizen Annual Conference in Beijing on December 15, 2013. The gala event is jointly organized by the China Committee of Corporate Citizenship (CCCC); an entity registered under the Ministry of Civil Affairs, China Central TV2 (CCTV), and the Tencent Charity Foundation.

2013 China Philanthropy Times Outstanding CSR Case Award

Visa's China Financial Literacy Development Alliance Program was honored with the award for acknowledgement of the company's corporate social responsibility efforts in China on December 5, 2013. The Alliance, launched in January 2013 by Visa Inc. CEO Charles Scharf, is focused on improving financial literacy in three key groups in China: youth, rural residents and migrant workers.

The Pentagon Federal Credit Union Foundation honored Visa Inc. for its leadership in providing support and services to returning military, veterans and their families.
